Alexandra Forshaw


Alex is an autistic parent with an adult autistic daughter. She works full-time as a software developer, manages AIM’s website and creates many of the posters and other graphics for AIM.

She is a trustee of the Flow Observatorium equality and diversity charity which works to improve recognition and support for neurodivergent people through the arts. She is also a visual artist and graphic designer, working with both traditional and digital media.

Alex is an autistic advocate who has been blogging and writing for several years, mostly on the subject of autism, and also contributed a chapter to the Autistic Women and Nonbinary Network anthology, What Every Autistic Girl Wishes Her Parents Knew.
