Nancy Doyle

"Nancy is an erstwhile truant and was a troubled, undiagnosed ADHDer teen. For reasons best know to herself, she quit drama school and became a psychologist because she was so fed up with psychology! Nancy has tirelessly campaigned within her adopted profession for a neuroaffirming approach to neurodivergence.

Nancy founded Genius Within, an employee-owned non-profit with a majority ND staff team of 200+ psychologists, coaches and support staff. They provide support services to ND and disabled adults who are in prison, unemployed or working on their career goals, as well as HR consulting and digital personal development platform - the Genius Finder.

Nancy has written and co-written two books, "Neurodiversity Coaching" with Prof. Almuth McDowall and "Learning from Neurodvergent Leaders". Nancy is a Visiting Professor at Birkbeck, University of London where she supervises ND PhD students and co-produces research which places ND priorities at the centre.

Nancy was honoured to be invited to be an AIM patron, as she is a massive fan of AIM's work and community. Nancy says, "what neurodivergent families need most is community, opportunities for joy and relaxation. AIM's work creates camaraderie and much needed fun for those who are dealing with significant exclusion."
