AIM Groups are Reopening!

Great news!

We are reopening our AIM Thursday group next week from 12 -2.30pm on October 1st. It is VERY important you read this right the way through. You MUST book a place for your child as we are only having 15 children per session. We have 8 places left. If you do not book and turn up you will be turned away.

Price is still £2.50 per family, Lucia Colella from Artfix is going to be doing art sessions with us from 12.30 – 1.15pm, these are free but we are asking for a £5 refundable at end of 8 week course deposit to secure your child’s place.

If you miss two sessions your child’s place will be given to someone else. There are 12 places on the course, it is called ‘Art Therapy For Health & Well Being’. Please mention when commenting if you are signing your child up for this course.

We are also please to welcome Kelly McGuinness back for Yoga from 1.15 – 1.45pm these sessions will be free of charge. There will be safety procedures in place as listed below. Quick note for Thursdays, we will not be opening the kitchen so please bring packed lunches that do not need heating and a flask with a hot drink if you need one. Please bring a carrier bag to take any rubbish such as crisp packets etc home with you.

There will also be one toilet open, the disabled one. After each use we will be going in to wipe down flush handle, lock and door. We are trying to keep the cleaning down, we will be finishing at 2pm and cleaning all surfaces, door handles and pool cues, PS4 controller’s etc. Please remember masks if you are able to wear one, the adults will be staying 2 metres apart unless they are from same household.

Safety measures: On returning to Woolwich Common Hub Arrive through Art room doors. On entering the building Temperatures taken max 37.4 otherwise sent away. Washing of hands and hand sanitise. Sign in.

15 in a bubble = the entire use of the premises If you have more than one bubble the building to be sectioned into two. Only one person in the toilet at any one time. Masks to be worn by staff and young people (if not exempt).

Our given age is 12+. Washing hands regularly and sterilising hands throughout session. All areas to be wiped down throughout the session and a final clean down at the end of the session (handles, work surfaces, tables, toilets).

Staff, Adults and Volunteers to support with all the above, ensuring a safe environment for all. In the event of someone becoming ill during the session. Temperature to be taken and individual to remain in the clinic and a member of staff/Adult to remain with the young person, 111 to be contacted for further advice and telephone assessment.

If the individual who has displayed symptoms has to go for screening or isolation. Member of staff and others who have had contact must go home and change clothes and shower. If Covid test is taken and result returns positive, then all others who came into contact must isolate.
