As an organisation, Autistic Inclusive Meets have changed the lives of countless Autistic people. Whether through their social groups, or the national and international activism they have conducted for Autistic rights. The world would be a much darker place for Autistic people without them.
*************************************************
Autistic Inclusive Meets are amazing & without their support within the borough (& nationwide) I think a lot of kids would miss out, not be advocated for & as its run by an actually Autistic person - makes it all the more special.
*********************************
I have a autistic son and adhd myself aim have been such a huge support it's unreal I would honestly struggle so much without the help, advice aims groups, days out where my son is free to be himself and fully accepted a place where there is no judgement.
*********************************
Aim has helped my family.
**************************************************
AIM os a superb place to be a part of! My 3 children are housebiund at times and AIM is the only place they are willing to attend! Love being part of this superb place. Everyones so supportive and welcoming and we fit right in..you are not facing the sen world alone when youre a part of AIM.. absolutly love them!
***************************************************
They are an amazing group who have helped so many people. They provide so many activities for all ages. Every area should have an organisation like AIM.
***************************************************
Great group really helped me and my children .
***************************************************
This Charity does exceptionally difficult work in an area for families with an autistic child/childeen and where they can go for meet ups with other children. Without AIMs there would be nowhere to go.
***************************************************
This group has helped my friends and family
***************************************************
Great people - good cause. Nice to have a voice heard outside of the ND community.
***************************************************
This area needs places for our SEN children to go. Also parents and carers need support where ever they can find it.
***************************************************
Suppor t families within the community from young to adults , run 3 different social clubs a week and a new SEND drop in to support families through the EHCP process, always a phone call away if needed and the parent / carers chat is always serportive.
***************************************************
I have worked with AIM for about a year. They have given me a voice and helped me realise my potential.
***************************************************
Aims is an amazing organization
***************************************************
Great community, helpful and supportive.

Their passion and dedication to improving the lives of autistic children is incredible and I've seen such a difference in my son's life since he started with them.
**************************************************

Wonderful activities for children and young adults who could be bullied and belittled in other venues.
*************************************************

**************************************************
Have been so supportive with my two autistic children. Have provided useful advice and inclusive groups, days out and events. They fight for inclusion and stand up and advocate for all neurodiverse people. They are a friendly, welcoming and understanding team. They deserve to win this award and have recognition for all the work they do and the services they provide.
***************************************************

***************************************************
A subject very close to my heart.
***************************************************
Emma has devoted herself to this cause , she visited our school today in our DSP unit and it was refreshing to see how much she supports the community and gives families and children a voice.
**************************************************
A fantastic organisation, a true gem for the local community and wider.
**************************************************
A truly inclusive autism association that helps do many people with often little funding and resources. A well led and fully inclusive company.
**************************************************
The services offered are invaluable to the people that it supports. Having a place to go to where you can gain advice and assistance from people that are knowledgeable about autism, and the challenges that it entails, means that we already have someone who understands what we are going through, and what we might need to help and support us.
**************************************************
Aim helps many autistic families through their advocacy support and their different groups. Emma Dalmayne their CEO works tirelessly for autistic rights.
**************************************************
Because of the fantastic work they do
**************************************************
They are an important part of the community for autistic people and their families.
**************************************************
We are all so fortunate to have AIM in our community. They have done so much to help those who are autistic and vulnerable. They go out of their way to ensure every child is treated the same and they provide a safe environment for them to be themselves without any judgement. Without AIM my brother would never be able to be himself, nor would anyone else.
**************************************************
Advocates without apology, for all Injustices to autistic people, supportive, knowledgeable and welcoming- a growing network that empowers everyone involved, related or are autistic themselves.. I am proud to be a member
*************************************************
AIM put their heart and soul into everything they do for those who are Autistic. As a parent I’m glad that I found AIM, because it was the only place where my child felt comfortable and understood. All the team at AIM are always happy to help you and your child, nothing is ever too much! My Son would be so isolated without this amazing team!
*************************************************
Concerned for all very young children with Autism.
**************************************************
It's something close to my heart as I have kids and a grandson with autism, they are amazingly supportive to the kids and their families too .
**************************************************
I am voting for Autistic Inclusive meets because of the incredible work they put in helping families and people with Autism and other disabilities. The groups and days out are amazing for so many families.
**************************************************
The great work that they carry out in the community is fantastic. They have a diverse support network of various volunteers sharing skills and knowledge to educate others. Support in advocating for the Autistic Community and individuals. The list goes on, check their social media for amazing work.
**************************************************
This organisation does vital work for autistic people, including campaigning tirelessly for individuals that need help, and also effectively to lobby Parliament and bring awareness of the worst crimes against autistic children and adults. Emma Dalmayne is truly a force for good in this world. The work the irganisation does in the heart of the community makes a significant positive impact on autistic people and their families, fostering supportive autistic communities and autistic confidence.
***************************************************

***************************************************
I love the work they do and they are a highly committed team who truly care. I will always appreciate everything they do for families!

***************************************************
it is an absolutely fantastic organisation, which has helped not only my siblings, but an entire community of families with children with SEN.
***************************************************
AIM is an organisation that radiates a tremendously positive and strong influence as it helps platform the voices of Neurodiverse people of all ages, creed and colour. It enables them to be heard and understood in wider society, helping advise and protect the rights and humanity of all who seek the umbrella of their support. They are an organisation with strong moral principles, unafraid to stand up to those in positions of power and responsibility to hold them to account for the mistreatment of Autists and neurodiverse, with the ultimate aim of improving these individual’s quality of life by increasing the understanding of the Autistic experience for all and campaign for such, if necessary. Not only are they a formidable and fearless campaigning force, shining a much needed spotlight on scandalous institutional abuses, but for me, they also represent a beating heart of our community that is so often misrepresented and under-appreciated, championing the successes and helping educate those prepared to listen, as to the realities of life as an autist, how to negotiate the quagmire of SEND bureaucracy, how best to listen and understand your neurodiverse child, friend or relative with meaningful support groups, regular meets and a thriving local network of experienced and supportive folk. It is an organisation truly worthy of this award.
**************************************************
Very good organisation, helped a lot of people
**************************************************
AIM are wonderful. They create a totally safe and judgement free space. They are always there to help and show support. I am so happy I found AIM They make me feel less alone .
**************************************************
This group provides a shoulder for many to cry on, during a difficult time in myself and my daughters life, this group was the difference between life and death especially for me as emotionally and mentally I did not feel strong enough to cope. Abuse will do that to a person, Emma would message me, call me to check in always making sure I was ok. I my daughter for the first time was seen happily being her autistic self the group goes above and beyond for everyone. They educate the system on neurodivergent individiuals, they all campaign against any abuse, taking petitions to parliament to hopefully make changes for the better. If it wasn’t for Emma and Jenny I wouldn’t even be here now, thank you for everything and I hope you win. You truly deserve it much love, respect and good fortune for the future of aim.

AIM is an amazing organisation that puts the needs 1st of all neurodivergent person. Emma is there on hand for help and advice when needed and everyone involved cares about everyone. ************************************************
Autistic Inclusive meets supported my family when my autistic daughter was wrongly sectioned. They have since made my daughter an advocate so that she can support others. AIM are an amazing resource. Their dedication to improving outcomes for autistic people is so important, due to the organisation being autistic led and managed, just as it should be.
*************************************************
My mum is a part of this organisation & is doing an amazing job helping.
*************************************************
For a friend
*************************************************
AIM has, and continues to demonstrate a high level of quality and inclusive activities. They are an organisation with strong ethics and encourage a wide range of interests from autistic individuals who otherwise might be extremely isolated. With both a strong social and campaigning arm, AIM demonstrates that as an organisation they are not shy to work for both justice and equity, and no one is turned away due to their abilities. I am strongly in favour of AIM receiving this award as they have built an inclusive community of strength.
*************************************************
Great organisation advocating for autistic people and bringing the community together with all age in person meet ups and eventd

***************************************************
This organisation is run by the people for the people. They have delivered many programs for autistics and their families. The group is fully inclusive and should be acknowledged for their commitment.

************************************************
They are an awesome organisation, authenticity meeting the needs of the community.
************************************************
AIM are by far the best support group I have found in all the years of looking for our people. I’m so happy that my family have had the chance to be welcomed into a group of people who are all neurodiverse themselves, it makes so much difference. Each and every volunteer there have real life lived experiences so the support and advice is genuine and actually helpful. My family are all neurodiverse and will always be grateful to AIM for all they they have done and continue to do.
*************************************************
Fantastic groip
*************************************************
AIM has transformed the lives of so many autistics, because when autistics act for autistics it adds a whole extra unmistakable dimension to the provision of a service, one of authenticity and accuracy that just cannot be obtained by other means. AIM is the leading autistics-for-autistics community globally, and by far.
************************************************
Emma and her team of neuro-affirming people create safe spaces for neurodivergent children and young people. Their work is invaluable and so is their passion and dedication to make this world a better place. Thank you for everything you do.
*************************************************
AIM are a true champion of neurodivergent families. They never waver, they always support, they have created a safe environment for so many. It should not be underestimated how vital it is to find solidarity with other families who have been excluded, ostracised and then blamed. AIM welcomea those and the end of their tether and supplies hope compassion and joy.
**************************************************
Great organisation offering tailored activities to young people as well as support to families
**************************************************
AIM go far above & beyond what I could ever have imagined in supporting people with autism. Kindness & hard work ribbons right through this organisation.
**************************************************
Because inclusivity matters and this organisation is working hard to stop the stigma around having autism and being autistic .
**************************************************
Attendee of their adult groups
**************************************************
Aim are the only autistic social meet we have been able to find and it’s been great for us.
*************************************************
I attended aim with my daughter, Emma made me feel so so welcome, and noticed my daughter become a bit overwhelmed with the amount of other children. And has suggested a quieter session. Which I look forward to attending and seeing Emma and the team more.
************************************************
Ever since my son was diagnosed autistic at 9, AIM has been a source of support, encouragement and information for my family. They have made us feel connected with a community of families like ours, experiencing similar joys and struggles. There is no other organisation local to us that is quite like AIM in terms of the range of activities for all age groups and also being autistic-led and truly neuro-affirming. Emma and her team work tirelessly not only on helping families like ours in a local level, but also campaigning for wider structural changes like access to CAMHS. Thank you AIM for all that you do!!
**************************************************
AIM have supoorted myself and my son, helped with EHCP and school meetings. Also ruining their Monday play group at Brookhill and other groups.
*************************************************

AIM has completely changed my life for the better, in every way possible, far more than I could of ever imagined.
**************************************************
They do brilliant work and raise awareness and really help people
**************************************************
Been very supportive to myself and my family with valuable advice and signposting. Always available day or night for advice and support Thankyou
*************************************************
I am voting as AIM is amazing, the information and advice you can get from the Watsapp group is great and very helpful. Having children with SEN can make you feel alone but having organisations like this takes away from feeling isolated and part of a community. I am grateful for the day trips and weekly session they have to run. I have attend before and plan to attend more in future. Many thanks you are doing amazing work x
*************************************************
Great group, have a good support system
*************************************************
Great group for kids
*************************************************
Very great group! Supportive and guiding
*************************************************
Aim has done more local and nationally for Autistic people and children than most.. Emma has been an advocate for years and is a true voice of the community especially black and brown Autistic people who are often missed.
***************************************************
They elevate autistic voices over those of Neurotypical people.
***************************************************
AIM is a beacon for Autistic children , parents of Autistic children as well as autistic parents and adults.. it is a safe space that is so needed today. AIM not only supports autistic children and people but advocates for them , most recently the scandal that CAMHS refuses to support autistic children in Mental health crisis. AIM and specifically Emma Dalmayne is a true advocate and supporter of all autistic children and people .
**************************************************
Have helped me. Great place to go.
**************************************************
AIM gave me advice on applying for an ehcp for my son. I went to their drop in advice session and they were really welcoming and warm. They have also given me support in their WhatsApp group when I’ve needed it. They also share information on autism that I’ve found really helpful.
**************************************************
AIM is an amazing organisation that is kind and inclusive to all autistic people.
**************************************************
Great support community of Autistic people. Provides a lot of helpful information and does a lot for autistic people.
**************************************************
They're vital. They provide information for parents like me who didn't and couldn't know because medical professionals refused and still refuse to acknowledge the Autistic Community. Aba is harmful. Its in UK schools, throughout the NHS as they work in tandem and also in care homes with dementia patients! Autism Inclusivity because it's such a large group connected with other organisations such as Scottish Autism however still is not recognised for the huge amount of work it does. For instance, Scottish Autism doesn't acknowledge it's links and is only a parent advice line according to one manager. I know it does more but because of this manager shutting down all links. I cannot vote fir them in all goid conscience. But Autism Inclusivity has never once let me down.
**************************************************
They do so much for the community and beyond. They also helped my son with his Duke of Edinburgh and he actually got a job 2 hrs a week after that.
****************************************
This organisation helps countless families and is an irreplaceable source of help, information and guidance. It undoubtedly deserves this award.
********************************************
AIM is a beacon for Autistic children , parents of Autistic children as well as autistic parents and adults.. it is a safe space that is so needed today. AIM not only supports autistic children and people but advocates for them , most recently the scandal that CAMHS refuses to support autistic children in Mental health crisis. AIM and specifically Emma Dalmayne is a true advocate and supporter of all autistic children and people .
*************************************************
They are essential for advocating for the rights of autistic people in this country.
*************************************************
The reason for voting because they are an organisation that seek nothing but the best with individuals whom have special needs. And this organisation also want for individuals with special needs to be given equal rights in this society. So they do deserve to win this.
***********************************************
Because they do great work
***********************************************
Emma and everyone else at aim have always been very supportive, always going above and beyond to help in any way they can. They offer a great range of services including social groups for all ages! These give autistic individuals the chance to socialise and mix with others alike and also giving them security of acceptance. My children have benefited from these groups and enjoy coming, I also enjoy meeting other families that have similar needs as ours.
***********************************************
Wonderful organisation which has provided me with education and information to support myself and my family
