SPOILER FOR COBRA KAI SEASON 6
When the final season of Cobra Kai ended there was one person we knew we had to go and check on, Shauna is an autistic poster on X who lives and breathes the character Terry Silver. She is OK and wrote us the following piece, please send her a follow on X here:
See Cobra Kai on Netflix.
What Terry Silver means to me.
"When I first watched the Karate Kid part 3 film I instantly fell in love with Terry. He instantly became my favorite character and he has helped me deal with a lot of things.
I struggle with depression, and anxiety and Terry is my way of coping.
When Silver returned in season four of Cobra Kai, I was ecstatic. Not only did Terry return but my favorite actor decided to reprise his role as Terry Silver.
Terry has meant a lot to me since 2012 when I first watched the film. He also has been a reason why I’m still here. He has saved my life on multiple occasions.
Whenever I had any dark thoughts I always thought of Terry and he helps me realize that it’s not worth it. "
Another reason why Silver means a lot to me is the fact that he’s the only character I have ever related to. From dealing with PTSD to also enjoying martial arts.
His death has truly saddened me but I know he will forever live on in my heart. In conclusion that’s why he means a lot to me because he’s my way of coping with my mental health and that I can relate to him with a lot of things that he went through.
